Research

As a bioinformatician, I utilize multi-omic approaches, mainly spectral flow cytometry and scRNA-seq, to characterize the vaccine responses of individuals across rural and urban areas.

Curriculum Vitae

I received my BSc. in Immunology from the University of Glasgow and carried out my PhD between University of Glasgow and University of Edinburgh as part of Medical Research Councils Precision Medicine DTP. During my PhD I used scRNA-seq to investigate Kinetoplastids life cycles and also developed packages to compare scRNA-seq trajectories between different conditions.

Functional immunology of infection and vaccine induced responses

The aim of our research group is to delineate host immune-responses towards mycobacteria to innovate diagnostic and vaccination strategies.
