The scientific researchers and medical professionals of LUCID provide elective education on infectious diseases for LUMC students in Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, and other study programs. They are particularly involved in the half-minors Global Health, Infections in Health and Disease, and the Frontiers of Science courses offered by LUCID in the Biomedical Sciences master’s program. Additionally, LUCID offers opportunities for internships and graduation projects for students in microbiological, (bio-)medical, or (molecular) biological fields of study at university or applied sciences (HBO) level.
