Research

I work in the mycobacterial research group on human immunology to Mycobacterium tuberculosis. I am involved in several vaccine studies but also in analysis of samples along the disease spectrum. I’m also responsible for the Mycobacterial BSL-3 lab where I take care of all things related to lab (culturing Mycobacteria, training new employees). Furthermore I have expertise in various immunological techniques.

Curriculum Vitae

In 2006 I obtained my Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. In 2007 I started working at the LUMC in the Mycobacterial research group, first on host-directed therapy and since 2023 on several vaccine studies.
