At the LUCID department, vacancies for the position of PhD researcher / Researcher in Training (OIO) are available at regular intervals. This training program is designed to educate the candidate over four years to become an independent microbiological researcher. During this period, a PhD dissertation must also be written that leads to an academic doctorate.
PhD positions can be funded based on LUMC funding or externally acquired research grants. In addition, candidates with personal funding for a PhD trajectory are invited to contact the department.
